Adventures in the wilderness (camping, climbing, rafting/canoeing, and all-around thriving in the backcountry of the Appalachian Mountains);
A face-to-face encounter with Christ in the poor (accompanying the homeless and at-risk youth in downtown Steubenville);
Mentorship from formators dedicated to helping you uncover your unrepeatable calling.
This is a journey that is not for the faint of heart, but take courage! You will be accompanied every step of the way. The Lord has an unfathomably wonderful plan for your life, and He calls you forth by name. An adventure awaits. How will you respond?
You have been willed into existence by God and uniquely crafted to fulfill a mission in salvation history that nobody else can fulfill. At the Inscape Center for Personal Vocation, we are deeply committed to helping you grasp this truth. It’s our entire mission. We’re especially conscious that young adults need to discover their unrepeatable calling, one that is not postponed until you “figure your life out.” Consequently, we’ve developed formational pillars to catalyze the realization of your identity and mission–all in the context of an adventure.
When: May 30 – August 4, 2024 (9 weeks)
Who: Men and women ages 18-24
Where: Men’s and women’s houses in Steubenville, OH
Cost: $3,500 (Apply before 2/2/24) or $4,000 (After 2/2/24)

Apostolates: Homeless ministry, outdoor programming with at-risk youth
Adventures: Rock climbing, canoeing/rafting, camping, orienteering

An adventure story is never complete without a guide–a dedicated mentor who can draw from the wisdom gained by navigating his or her own journey. Living out our calling may lead you onto the less-traveled path, but you will not travel alone. We’ve assembled an all-star team of formators and guides to accompany you this summer! Our goal is to provide holistic, integrated formation–a process that engages not only your mind but your heart. We want to equip you to fulfill the unique role God has prepared for you.
