Cara is a collaborative talent development consultant who supports organizations in moving transformational purpose-driven initiatives from vision and strategy to execution.
Partnering with the Human Formation Coalition and the Inscape Center for Personal Vocation, she coaches leaders in the Diocese of Camden, Franciscan University and The GIVEN Institute to help them and their teams to flourish by identifying and developing their passions and gifts to joyfully live out their unique and unrepeatable purpose.
As a strategic partner to the Diocese of Camden’s Director of Discipleship & Leadership, Cara helps develop and execute Gifted Leadership learning journeys to support clergy and lay leaders in discovering and stewarding their strengths, core motivations and missional callings.
Previously, she worked as an internal consultant in a variety of Learning & Talent Development roles at Merck & Co., Inc and First USA Bank, (now JP Morgan Chase & Co.). She served as a research assistant and consultant to Fortune 500 clients at National Analysts Research & Consulting Healthcare Practice, (now NAXION), and at Arthur Andersen’s Business Consulting Practice.
Cara has her B.S. in Food Marketing from St. Joseph’s University and her M.Ed. in Instructional Systems, Training Design & Development from Pennsylvania State University. She holds her Catechetical Institute Certification from St. Charles Borromeo Seminary Graduate School of Theology. She is a certified MCODE core motivations coach, Gallup CliftonStrengths coach for non-profits and a trained MPACT, (Ephesians 4 five-fold gifts), coach.
Cara and her husband Ted live in the Philadelphia suburbs with their daughter Theresa. They all actively support and serve at St. Anastasia, Cardinal O’Hara High School and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
