Living Your Personal Vocation Seminar

“Each of you has a personal vocation which He has given you for your own joy and sanctity. When a person is conquered by the fire of His gaze, no sacrifice seems too great to follow Him and give Him the best of ourselves. This is what the saints have always done, spreading the light of the Lord … and transforming the world into a welcoming home for everyone.”
― Pope Benedict XVI

Living Your Personal Vocation Seminar

Inscape’s 12-week Living Your Personal Vocation Seminar is built to form participants to discern and fully live out their personal vocations. Throughout the seminar, we use story as a basic framework to help participants come to understand their unique design and call. God wants each person to play a vital role in the grand narrative of Salvation History. Participants will utilize their own stories of fulfilling activity to discern how God has designed them and works in their lives. They will learn to see their own personal vocations as distinctive calls to participate in God’s plan of restoring all creation to Himself. The seminar will be highly interactive and emphasize practical ways to discern and live out one’s personal vocation. Participants will gain key lessons for flourishing in Christ now and throughout the various seasons of life.

The Inscape Center for Personal Vocation is pleased to announce that Lindsey Haynes will be facilitating the Living Your Personal Vocation Seminars. Lindsey is devoted to helping individuals recognize the fingerprints of God in their unique motivations and strengths. She is an ACC-trained coach through Professional Christian Coaching Institute and provides coach training with Human Formation Coalition, as well as individual coaching. As the Director of Franciscan Life Online at Franciscan University of Steubenville, Lindsey has facilitated the Living Your Personal Vocation Seminar for online students for several years, and serves as a Vocation Coach with Franciscan University’s Leadership Fellows Program.

After converting to the Catholic faith in 2016, Lindsey spent time discerning religious life with various orders in Italy. Upon returning to the US, she worked as a project manager and contractor with Catholic organizations including The Dynamic Catholic Institute, The Cor Project, Fuzati, and Parish Excellence. She has led retreats and instructed courses with Ruah Woods and currently travels to parishes and speaks on topics including Theology of the Body, prayer, and the sacraments.
